As a fifth-generation Florida cattleman born in Gainesville, Quincey’s lifelong connection to Florida’s land and agriculture has shaped his dedication to sustainable farming practices. His background includes founding the Quincey Cattle Company, a pioneering venture in diversified cattle-feeding based in Chiefland as well as serving in key leadership roles within agricultural associations such as the Florida Cattleman’s Association, the National Cattlemen’s Beef Association and the Future Farmers of America (FFA).
Quincey’s induction into the Florida Agriculture Hall of Fame in 2023 coupled with his advocacy for balanced environmental policies underscores his status as a respected figure in Florida’s agricultural and conservation communities.
